The 8th annual was held on Saturday, June 12th at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. This event raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for breast cancer research. This was the largest Susan Komen event yet, with over 17,000 participants.

The AKC was represented by a team of 50 walkers/runners organized by the Community Events Team. The AKC contributed $10 towards the registration fee for each employee who signed up.
