The American Kennel Club is pleased to announce that Michael Szabo has been hired as an Executive Field Representative.

 

Michael will join the staff on October 1, 2012 and will relocate to the Chicago area and he will cover shows in the Midwest.

 

“Michael brings a broad background as a breeder, valuable expertise as an AKC registered handler, and extensive hands-on experience in AKC events as a superintendent,” said Patricia Proctor who heads the Conformation field staff. “The American Kennel Club is proud to welcome him to the staff.”

 

Szabo began his dog career in 1984 and has successfully bred Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Akitas, Beagles, and Pointers. During a 23-year professional handling career, he handled many specialty and all-breed Best in Show dogs.

 

Michael is a founding charter member of the Fulton County Ohio Kennel Club and he has been a member of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States for over 25 years.
