The AKC Humane Fund Welcomes Over 150 Members
Over 150 individuals, AKC Delegates, AKC clubs, corporations, organizations and individuals have joined the AKC Humane Fund to raise awareness for responsible dog ownership. Over 40 AKC Delegates and Clubs have joined the AKC Humane Fund as Founding Members. These pioneer Delegates and Clubs include:

The AKC Humane Fund unites a broad spectrum of animal lovers in promoting the joy and value of responsible pet ownership through education, outreach and grant-making. Monies raised may fund grants to organizations that
educate adults and children about responsible pet ownership
provide for the health and well being of all dogs
preserve and celebrate the human-animal bond and the evolutionary relationship between dogs and mankind.
Clubs, individuals and organizations who join The AKC Humane Fund as Founding Members with a contribution of $1000 or more are commemorated with a permanent plaque at the Wall of Honor in the American Kennel Club's New York headquarters. Founder plaques may also honor or memorialize a special friend, family member or dog.
The AKC Humane Fund, Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization exempt from federal income taxation pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations to the AKC Humane Fund are tax deductible as allowed by law. Your contribution will go a long way toward preserving and enhancing the bonds we cherish with our pets.
