Voters in Miami-Dade County, Florida will decide on Tuesday (8/14) if a 23-year ban on “pit bulls” will be repealed.
A “Yes” vote on the ballot measure will repeal the county ordinance that prohibits owning or keeping American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, or any other dog that substantially conforms to any of these breeds' characteristics.
Responsible dog owners are encouraged to go to the polls on August 14, 2012 and vote “Yes” on “Repeal of the County’s Pit Bull Dog Ban.”
