The American Kennel Club® is pleased to announce the results of first round judging for the AKC Kids’ Corner Art Contest.

The contest is in honor of the release of the new safety video “The Dog Listener. Be safe around dogs: Become a Dog Listener!” which educates school children how to steer clear of potentially dangerous situations by teaching them how to greet a dog, how to respect a dog’s space (by learning to hear it’s nonverbal communication) and how to avoid a stray dog, and what to do when they see a group of loose dogs.
