AKC is pleased to announce the launch of an Event Entry Service for the AKC National Agility Championship (NAC). Exhibitors entering the NAC now have the ability to create and submit entry forms online from the AKC website.

The Event Entry Service is very convenient for exhibitors, allowing them to add dogs to their My AKC account and then enter those dogs into the event. Much of the entry form is pre-populated for the exhibitor based on official AKC information. Another benefit of the AKC Event Entry Service is that it will alert exhibitors if entry information does not match AKC records or if AKC records indicate the dog(s) may not be eligible for the event.

"We are excited to offer online entries for our National Agility Championship competitors," said Curt Curtis, AVP of AKC Companion Events. "The AKC continuously strives to develop needed services for our exhibitors. Given the time demands that most people face, the convenience and efficiency associated with entering this event online will be appreciated by many."

Later in 2008, AKC plans to offer this service for all AKC agility events, as long as the event-giving club selects and publishes AKC as the online entries service provider.
