The American Kennel Club and The Canine Health Foundation will be presenting a Canine Breeders’ Symposium hosted by Iowa State University – College of Veterinary Medicine in Ames, Iowa on June 5th and 6th. The symposium is open to all breeders, experienced and novice, plus anyone with a true dedication to dogs. This program will include topics relevant to a modern and responsible approach to canine breeding and medicine. The symposium will offer dog breeders a forum to meet, learn and share ideas, concerns and expertise. This special two-day program will consist of talks by Canine Structure and Health authorities, with the second day devoted exclusively to Canine Reproduction. We will have presentations by some of the foremost experts in their fields, speaking on subjects of great interest for all breeders. The cost of general admission is $100 for Day 1 only; $75 for Day 2 only; $150 for both days; and $275 for those wanting Continuing Education Credits. The course has been submitted (but not yet approved) for 10 hours of continuing educational credits. The cost includes conference materials, as well as breakfast and lunch.
