The American Kennel Club and the AKC Canine Health Foundations will be presenting a Canine Breeder's Symposium in Columbus, Ohio on November 11th and 12th, 2006. The symposium is open to all breeders, experienced and novice, plus anyone with a true dedication to dogs. The program will include presentations by leading veterinarians and researchers on topics relevant to a modern and responsible approach to canine medicine and breeding. The symposium offers dog breeders a forum to meet, learn and share ideas, concerns and expertise. Hosted by Ohio State University, the event will feature such speakers as Walter Threlfall, DVM, Cheryl London, VMD, PhD, Tony Buffington, DVM, Karsten Schober, DVM and others.

Among the many topics to be discussed will be canine genetics and reproduction, canine cancer, canine nutrition and canine cardiomyopathy. The cost of attendance is $125.
