The American Kennel Club and the AKC Canine Health Foundation will be presenting a Canine Breeder's Symposium in Raleigh, North Carolina on May 31st and June 1st, 2008. The symposium is open to all breeders, experienced and novice, plus anyone with a true dedication to dogs. The program will include topics relevant to a modern and responsible approach to canine breeding and medicine. The symposium will offer dog breeders a forum to meet, learn and share ideas, concerns and expertise. The event will feature such speakers as Steven Suter, VMD, PhD, DACVIM speaking on Canine Lymphoma, Adam Birkenheur, DVM, DACVIM speaking on Canine Infectious Disease, and many others who will speak on canine breeding and health issues.

This is a one and a half day program. The cost of attendance is $135. This course has been submitted (but not yet approved) for 10 hours of continuing educational credits.
