The American Kennel Club and the AKC Canine Health Foundation will be presenting a canine Breeder's Symposium at the Chisholm Trail Pavilion, Garfield county Fairgrounds in Enid, Oklahoma on Saturday, September 19, 2009. The symposium is open to all breeders, experienced and novice, plus anyone with a true dedication to dogs. This program will include topics relevant to a modern and responsible approach to canine breeding and medicine. the symposium will offer dog breeders a forum to meet, learn, and share ideas, concerns and expertise. The event will feature speakers such as the renowned Claudia Orlandi, PhD presenting her ABC's of Dog Breeding program, Gini Thoni, DVM speaking on The Nutrition of Lactation, Michael Davis, DVM, PhD on The Care of Performance Dogs, Rick Kesler, DVM presenting on Infectious Disease, Art Quinn, DVM talking on Canine Ophthalmology, Reed Holyoak, DVM, PhD, DACT on Canine reproduction and others.

This is a one day program. The cost of general admission is $95. For those wanting Continuing Education Credits, the cost is $200. This course has been submitted (but not yet approved) for 6 hours of continuing educational credits. The cost includes conference material featuring the ABC's of Dog Breeding, as well as breakfast and lunch.
