South Carolina resident Lois McCracken and her American Water Spaniel “Blew” traveled to the Big Apple earlier this year to compete in the 2015 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Blew, formally known as GCH Carolina’s Running With The Hare BN RN SH JHR CGC, won Best of Breed at the prestigious event.
The South Carolina House of Representatives celebrated the state’s new canine star by passing an official state Resolution (below) congratulating “Blew” on his accomplishments in the show ring and in the community.
South Carolina Governor Nikki R. Haley also sent McCracken a letter congratulating her on her dog’s accomplishments, writing:
“With the ability to win the hearts of all he meets, from the judges in New York City to the patients at the Tuomey Regional Medical Center, “Blew” is a true testament to your dedication to the American Water Spaniel. It is a pleasure to join fellow South Carolinians in recognizing your success.”
