Excitement filled the air Saturday morning as tracking enthusiasts from around the country visited with each other in anticipation of the draw for running order. The order drawn was as follows:

1) Amber Perri & Jet, a German Shepherd
2) Ruth Vaughan & Truman, a Weimaraner
3) Ursula Lehman (handling for husband Mike) & Blade, a Beagle
4) James LaBine & Bella, a Flat-Coated Retriever
5) Joseph Hamzy & Ilsa, a Flat-Coated Retriever

Saturday evening’s banquet festivities began with the presentation of participation awards to the ten lucky exhibitors. Fanciers enjoyed a wonderful meal while renewing old friendships and making new. Following dinner, Herb Morrison, recently retired AKC tracking rep, was honored for his years of devoted service to the sport of tracking. Herb was presented with a memory quilt made by a fancier that contained pictures and many good wishes from tracking folks all across the country. Some in attendance told funny "Herb" stories and some even shed a few tears. It was an evening of great fun with wonderful people celebrating a sport they all love.
