2005 AKC National Tracking Invitational
Team One Participant - Beth A. Walker

Beth A. Walker Beth has been involved with Belgian Tervuren for approximately 24 years, and the sport of tracking for over thirteen years. She owns, handled and trained the first Belgian Tervuren and the first of all Belgian breeds in the country to earn the Variable Surface Tracking title, which resulted in the Champion Tracker title, CH CT StarBright Je Ne Sais Quoi CDX HT. "Jack" was also the ninth Champion Tracker among all-breeds in the country. Jack was Beth's first tracking dog and she could not have wished for a better teacher than he. At almost 14 years of age, Jack remains the dog of her heart.

Currently, Beth is exhibiting her youngest CT Belgian Tervuren, CH CT O-Tahn-Agon Cinema Duet as an owner-handler in the breed ring. "Jeep" is, at the present time, the #1 Belgian Tervuren in the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship rankings and is ranked #1 Belgian Tervuren all systems.

Beth is an approved AKC Tracking Dog and Tracking Dog Excellent judge, is on the Board of Directors for the Pecatonica Tracking Club, and has served the American Belgian Tervuren Club as the tracking columnist for its bi-monthly publication, "Tervuren News Tales" for the last 7 years.

In her "other" life, Beth works full-time as the Purchasing Coordinator for a mid-sized plastics company and has a 17-year old son with her husband, Lee, of 18 years. Both Jack and Jeep share this family's home, hearts and couch.
