Lure Coursing

Inland Wilderness Hunt Club of California

Bakersfield College was the site for the Inland Wilderness Hunt Club's first AKC lure coursing event for the year. The weather was just right for the dogs and the people.

Field chairman Frank Yeh and field secretary Deborah Butler had everything under very good control for the event. With a two day total entry of 33 Junior Coursers and 121 in the regular event, there were many spectacular runs for the spectators to watch.

What made this event so special was the fact that 8 Dual Champions (DC) were entered in the event. These dogs have completed both their conformation championship in the show ring and their field championship on the coursing field.
