AKC Whippet National Specialty April 19, 2014

On Saturday the Whippet Lure Coursing event took place at the Center for Maryland Agriculture and Farm Park in Cockeysville, Maryland.

The Best of Breed in Lure Coursing with an entry of 133 Whippets was: Debmar Turbodiesel who is owned and handled by Breeders: Maurice and Deborah Baum from Bush, Louisiana. This black dog won two 5 point majors at the AKC National Lure Coursing Championship held in Oklahoma last November. Turbo finished his Lure Coursing Championship at this National Specialty trial undefeated with his third 5 point major.

This event was very well run and a big thanks to all of the workers and participants.
