The 2004-2005 Coursing Advisory Committee is begining work on recommendations for changes to the AKC Lure Coursing Test and Trial regulations. The committee will be chaired by Karen Arends of Joshua, TX (e-mail: karends999@aol.com).
The committee is made up of representative from all AKC Coursing clubs plus 4 Delegate's At Large, one from each time zone. The list of delegates is attached.
Suggestions and recommendations of changes to the existing Lure Coursing Regulations may be made either to a club delegate, a Delegate at Large or through the AKC Coursing Mailbox at Coursing@akc.org. All changes will be considered by the committee.
A sub-committee of the delegates will make a final determination of the changes which will be voted on by all the coursing clubs in 2005. The recommended changes which are passed by the clubs will be presented to the AKC Board of Directors following a review by the AKC staff.
