Kaitlyn Walsh – A young handler for the Hunt Test Crowd

Kaitlyn will be 12 this June – and she will probably be celebrating her birthday in a bird field somewhere! Kaitlyn, along with her German Wirehaired Pointer, Sage, is a familiar sight at Hunt Tests and Field Trials in the Eastern PA, NJ and DE areas.

Starting last year at the Eastern German Shorthaired Pointer Club’s Hunt Test, Kaitlyn has scored a "leg" at almost every Hunt Test, finishing Sage’s JH title in Delaware this past January. With guidance from her father, Carl Walsh, and also Mal Decker, Eastern Director of the German Wirehaired Pointer Club of America, Kaitlyn has impressed all of us in the Delaware Valley German Wirehaired Pointer Club!

With Sage’s title in hand, Kaitlyn will be starting two new German Wirehaired Pointers in Hunt Tests this spring. Good Luck, Kaitlyn – We know we will be seeing your name in various AKC events for a long long time!

The Delaware Valley German Wirehaired Pointer Club joins the AKC in congratulating Kaitlyn for her efforts and drive and support her in all that she endeavors.
