Retriever Field Trials
Carolina Piedmont Retriever Club Field Trial

The Carolina Piedmont Retriever Club held their AKC Licensed Field Trial in Cheraw, South Carolina on March 26-28, 2005. The tests were run at the H. Cooper Black Jr. Field Trial Grounds. The club dedicated the Field Trial in memory of: Annette Brumby Winburn (A founding member of the Carolina Piedmont Retriever Club). The catalog read:
"Annette's love was her garden and her Labrador Retrievers. Both passions she shared with her late husband. Her elegance and style belied a keen competitive spirit. We all admired her success as a handler. She touched many of our lives - talkative and friendly, she rarely met a person who remained a stranger for very long.

Annette fed us, listened to us, and took care of us. We will always remember our love for her."
