Ninth Series

Test nine is a land-water quad with two retired guns and two flyers. First, long and deep at 385 yards, a set of guns shoots and throws a hen mallard from left to right on the far bank of a pond that has an island and a goose nest in the water. Next, at 200 yards, a set of guns (momma) shoots and throws a hen pheasant from left to right into a ravine in the middle of the test configuration. Both of these guns retire - the second set will retire to the next bird, the "papa" flyer guns at 190 yards that shoot a rooster pheasant from right to left. Finally, way to the right, a fourth set of guns shoots a hen mallard flyer at a hard angle back from right to left at 230 yards. Video Clips:

Eighth Series

Test 8 is a land-water quad, another mixed bag. The first station to shoot and throw is deep and to the right at 270 yards. The guns stand on the right side of a pond and throw a hen mallard across the water several yards up the bank on the other side. Next, at 200 yards, on the left, a station on the left of another pond throws a drake mallard from left to right halfway down a spit of land that juts into a pond. Both of these guns retire. Up the middle, across a road and up a hillside, flyer guns at 350 yards shoot a drake mallard to the right. Finally a short gun on the far right 90 yards from the line throws a rooster pheasant to the right. Video Clips:
