Fourth Series

The fourth series was a water triple featuring two retired gunning stations. The first bird down was directly in front of the line at a distance of approximately 75 yards. This bird was thrown from a duck blind mounted on a boat and was very well hidden by brush and a fallen tree. The bird landed on a spit of land extending out into the middle of the lake. The second bird was to the left of the first and down the same spit of land at a distance of approximately 35-40 yards. The gunners came from a well camoflauged holding blind on the opposite side of the spit of land and threw the bird from left to right. From the running line, it landed at a distance of about 60 yards on the back side of the spit of land. The last bird was to the right of the running line. It was straight away down the shoreline at a distance of about 85 yards. The bird, a live flyer, was shot at a slight angle and almost straight away from the dog. After completing the series, the dog was required to honor the next working dog. Video Clips:
