Friday - November 18, 2005Eighth Series
Eighth series is a water quad located in the same area as the seventh series (Bennettsville, SC). From the line, the gunners go from right to left (around the horn). The first bird is a flyer hen pheasant thrown from right to left (angling back). The gunners are in the same area as the blind was yesterday. The second bird is a duck thrown left to right. The third is a rooster thrown right to left onto a small island. The last bird to the left is a flyer hen duck thrown left to right. Guns retire after the dog leaves the line. Once the test is completed, there is an honor for the next dog. Please watch the video clips to see the test area.
Cold temperatures this morning. Also, there was a change in the location of one of the gunning stations. A new test dog was brought in and was handled by Bill Goldstein (Field Trial Chairman).
