Fourth Series

The fourth series was a water land triple with two retired gunning stations. The running line was just off the side of a road and sloped down to a channel running into a pond. The test was spread across a large flat area which at times may possibly be covered with water. The dogs came to line to observe three running stations spread across the area. The first bird came from the left most station, thrown left to right. The station was about halfway up a small hillside and the bird was landing near the end of the point of land. This bird was at a distance of approximately 150 yards. The second bird, a live flyer, was up the middle and was shot left to right. This bird was at a distance of approximately 200 yards. The last bird down was to the right of the line at a distance of approximately 130 yards. This bird was thrown right to left and landed across a small creek in knee high shoreline grass on land. As the dog was cast for the last bird down it disappeared from the sight of the right gunning station allowing the gunners to retire into a standing holding blind. Gunner station one also retired into a well camoflauged holding blind. After completing the test, dogs were then required to honor the next working dog. Video Clips:
