Fourth Series

The fourth series was a shoreline water blind placed at approximately 160 yards. The dogs were placed on a mat for a "hidden entry" start to the water. After the dogs were cast and over a small incline, handlers were able to move up for handling. After a land run of about 35 yards, the dogs then entered the water for a shoreline swim to a distant point of land. Crossing the point, the dogs then re-entered a very swift piece of swimming water that had to be crossed to the opposite shore on which the bird was placed.
