First and Second Series

First series started with two marks. Facing out into an open field with short grass, the first bird (rooster pheasant) was thrown right to left (angled back). This was at approximately 290 yards and to the left of the line. The gunners then retired. The second bird (live flyer rooster pheasant) was thrown left to right at approximately 130 yards. This was a little to the right of the line. Once the two marks were completed, the handler and dog turned to the left of the line for the blind. The second series blind (rooster pheasant) was approximately 240 yards from the line.
