Eighth Series - River Water Triple

Long point bird thrown left to right. Second bird thrown right to left at the waters edge. To maintain a line to the bird, you really had to fight the rivers current. Flyer thrown left to right into a grassy area. Line being through a corner of water past decoys.

All birds were ducks. All marks demanded navigation through sage before the dog hit the water. It is taking about 15 minutes a dog. Video Clips:

Seventh Series - River Water Blind

The dog leaves the line and goes through some tall grass, then enters the water and swims to another piece of land. The current is strong in the water and can push a dog to the right. Once on land, the dog is cast back towards some shallow running water and swimming water before a mud flat point. The dog then comes to another section of water and swims to the blind. Just like the first section of water, the current is strong and pushes some dogs out of view from the line. Handlers were allowed to move laterally, but not to go forward. The distance to the blind, a dead duck, was approximately 275 yards. Video Clips:
