Third Series
The third series water blind is very straight forward. As the dog and handler walk to the line, a diversion shot is fired by a gunner that is not visible from the line. The initial line has more affect on the dogs than the dry shot. Basically, the blind is angle entry - by the gun - skim the left side of the island - over the point - back on the point and to the blind.
89 dogs were called back for the 3rd series. Dog 41 started.

Second Series
The second series consists of a double land blind. The line for both blinds is moved back and to the right, about 15 feet of the line used for the 1st series land marks. To make the line to the blinds more difficult, a pile of logs was placed about 10 yards in front of the running dog and on line to the blinds. The short first blind is about 75 yards long over the logs and between numerous hazards. The long blind is about 175 yards. Very tight to the short blind again with numerous hazards to deal with.
