Thursday: Sixth Series

The sixth series is a water blind with poison bird. The line is positioned to the back side of a low dike, as the dog and handler approached the mat a set of guns to the right fire and throw a dead duck toward the water. The dog is then released to do a water blind at approximately 120 yards, the line takes the dog up the back side of the dike into the water, cross a point just deep of the poison bird re-enter the water and swim to the duck on a floater just past a small island, the wind is from right to left and blowing off the poison bird. Of the first six dogs most were taking around 4-6 cast to retrieve the blind. The test was taking from 4-6 minutes and appeared would be completed late this afternoon.
