Event Kicks Off
The 15th running of the AKC Gun Dog Championship kicked off at 8:08 am on Monday, April 28, 2008. They ran 6 braces. On Tuesday morning 2 braces were run before winds became so strong that the stake was shut down for the day.

The Retrieving Championship started Thursday morning. The first series was concluded Sunday evening. Sixteen dogs were called back for the second series which will be completed by Monday evening. The Non-Retrieving Championship should wrap up Tuesday evening.
