2011 AKC Gundog Brace National Championships

October 7 & 8, 2011 – St. Clairsville, Ohio

Entry Fee $35

The 2011 AKC Gundog Brace National Championship will be held at Belmont Jefferson Beagle Club in St. Clairsville, Ohio on October 7 & 8, 2011.

2011 qualifications are as such: Any Gundog Field Champion and any hound which has placed first through NBQ in a licensed gundog field trial in the calendar years of 2009, 2010, and 2011 will qualify. All Field Champions must compete in the class in which it received its 3rd win.

Hounds will be cast and tested for gunshyness.

Closing for the event will be 7:00 AM ESDT

There will be a free evening meal on Friday evening sponsored by the Mid-America Brace Gundog Federation and Appalacian Gundog Brace Federation.

Classes will be run as such: Oct. 7, 2011 Males, Oct. 8, 2011 Females

Judges are as follows:

  • 13 Inch Males – Vic Costanza (NY) & Jim Clark (NJ)
  • 15 Inch Males – Scott Hudson (OH) & Simon Wiley (KY)
  • 13 Inch Females – Randy Adcox (SC) & Michael Hayes (SC)
  • 15 Inch Females – Richard Sawyer (KY) & Nick Petrovich Jr. (WV)
