The 12th annual AKC National Brace Beagle Championship Field Trial was held at the Coraopolis Beagle Club in Clinton, PA.
Sunday
The weather turned for the better Sunday afternoon and there were plenty of rabbits still to flush. The dogs ran well and here are the results for the 13" and 15" males.

The National Brace Beagle Awards Banquet
Saturday night festivities took place at The Fez in Aliquippa, PA. Purina awarded the Top Brace Field Trial Beagle to:

Owner: James and Kathy Watson
Handler: Jim and Ruth Burton
James Watson was awarded a plaque and an original oil painting in recognition of the accomplishments of his hound. Nestle Purina, who is the major sponsor of the National Beagle Field Championships, sponsored the banquet, the Friday night steak fry and provides custom embroidered jackets to all the winners.
