2012 AKC National Agility Championship
Vendors
We are very happy to announce that our 2012 AKC National Agility Championship will be held at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center in Reno, Nevada on March 30-April 1, The dates for this event are Friday, March 30th through Sunday, April 1, 2012. The AKC anticipates this event to have an estimated 900 teams competing. Handler and dog teams from the Regular classes and Preferred classes will compete to become a National Agility Champion.
Vendor space is limited, so we are giving our former supporters of the 2011 AKC National Agility Championship until January 20, 2012 to reserve a booth at the 2012 event in Reno, after which time we will process reservations from new vendors to the event. Contracts will be accepted in the order in which they are received. Only completed contracts with full payment will reserve a booth space. Notifications to previous vendors have been sent via email.
Booth spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and will only be reserved when all of the proper paperwork and fees have been received by AKC. Incomplete paperwork or fees will not reserve a space.
The following items are required to be submitted with a completed vendor booth contract:
- A completed/signed Vendor Booth Contract;
- Fees payable to AKC Agility Nationals;
- Certificate of Business Liability Insurance (due by February 24, 2012) in the amount of $1 Million (bodily injury and property damage), $1 Million (products and completed operations) and these policies shall have an aggregate limit of $1 Million. All such policies shall be writing to apply to all bodily injury, property damage and personal injury losses and shall list the American Kennel Club, Inc., Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority and Washoe County as additional insured covering move-in, event days and move-out days;
- All approved vendors are required to have a City Business License to conduct business at this event and a temporary business license is available to event-participating vendors. There is a one-time fee of $15.00 for the temporary license, which will be collected by AKC with the vendor booth contract.
Any vendor spaces available after the deadline for the previous vendors to respond will be made available to new vendors.
If you are interested in being a vendor at the 2012 AKC National Agility Championship and you were not a vendor at the 2011 event, please contact Pamela Manaton at AgilityNationals@akc.org to request a vendor booth contract.
Please provide a complete description of the products or services that you provide with your inquiry. There will be no sharing of booth spaces between vendors. The final deadline to register as a vendor for this prestigious event is February 17, 2012.
The area for vendors does not allow for the use of motorized vehicles. Please plan accordingly as there will be no trailers etc. allowed inside the vendor area for loading and unloading. There are loading/unloading areas very close to where the vendor area is located. All vendor items will have to be brought into the area by handcart. All vendors will be required to vacate the vendor hall by 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 1st.
