2010 AKC National Agility Championship

We are very happy to announce that our 2010 AKC National Agility Championship will be held at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex at Expo Square in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The dates for this event are Friday, March 26 through Sunday, March 28, 2010. The AKC anticipates this event to be one of our largest championships ever, with an estimated 1,000 teams competing in the beautiful, spacious Expo Square. In addition to handlers/dogs from the Regular classes, new to the National Agility Championship will be handlers and dog teams competing in the Preferred classes.

Vendor space is limited, so we are giving our former supporters of the 2009 AKC National Agility Championship until December 18, 2009 to reserve a booth at the 2010 event in Tulsa before we open reservations to the general public. Contracts will be accepted in the order in which they are received. Only completed contracts with full payment will reserve a booth space.

Booth spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and will only be reserved when all of the proper paperwork and fees have been received by AKC. Incomplete paperwork or fees will not reserve a space.

The following items are required to be submitted with a completed vendor booth contract:

  1. A completed/signed Vendor Booth Contract;
  2. Fees payable to AKC Agility Nationals.
  3. Certificate of Business Liability Insurance in the amount of $1 Million (bodily injury and property damage) and naming The American Kennel Club, Inc. and the Tulsa County Public Facilities Authority as additional insured covering move-in, event days and move-out days;

If there are any spaces available after the deadline for the prior vendors to respond, we will make them available to new vendors. AKC will post a notice online when new vendors may submit a request to attend the event, which we expect to be in at the end of the year.

If you are interested in being a vendor at the 2010 AKC National Agility Championship and you were not a vendor at the 2009 event, please contact Pamela Manaton at AgilityNationals@akc.org to request a vendor booth contract once we open the space to all. Please provide a complete description of the products or services that you provide with your inquiry. There will be no sharing of booth spaces between vendors. The final deadline to register as a vendor for this prestigious event is January 29, 2010.

The area for vendors does not allow for the use of motorized vehicles. Please plan accordingly as there will be no trailers etc. allowed inside the vendor area for loading and unloading. There are loading/unloading areas very close to where the vendor area is located. All vendor items will have to be brought into the area by handcart. All vendors will be required to vacate the vendor hall by 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 28th.
