Breed Coordinators
Sign up to be the coordinator for your breed at the 2009 AKC Agility Invitational. Breed coordinators have their name and e-mail address published on the list on the AKC website. They will coordinate with anyone wishing to show their support for that breed at the event. The breed coordinator will communicate with others from your breed or supporters for the breed to show camaraderie and sportsmanship at the event. Or, are you and your dog the only one representing your breed? If so, contact the coordinator for all of the single breed representatives at this event.
Camaraderie and sportsmanship can be accomplished by wearing the same colored clothing or design, crating in the same area, decorating your crates the same, the possibilities are endless. All you need to do as the coordinator is gather the group together via e-mail and discuss how you would like to show your spirit and support. It can be as simple or as elaborate as you wish. It is all in the name of fun, camaraderie and sportsmanship!
