The Companion Events Department of the American Kennel Club recently contacted all clubs approved for agility with exciting opportunities to support the AKC Agility Invitational. Club presidents and secretaries were emailed using the contact information on file. Paper mailings were issued to clubs without an email address on file. Please urge your club to show their support of AKC Agility at the 2008 AKC Agility Invitational in Long Beach, California!!

The first round of invitations for the 2008 AKC Agility Invitational were mailed Tuesday, August 5th to the top five dogs in each breed. The deadline to reply to this invitation is Wednesday, September 10th. If any of the dogs invited in the first round decline their invitation, a second round of invitations will be mailed immediately following the reply deadline.

A return envelope is enclosed with the invitation. The envelope is addressed with the AKC PO Box address for regular mail delivery and should be used for your reply. However, we have provided a street address on the entry form in the event you must expedite your response to us to meet the deadline. If possible, please send your replies via regular mail in the return envelope provided.
