Pointing Breeds:
10 points at 3 trials, with at least 1 win of 3 points or better in:
Open All-AgeNo more than 2 points from puppy (Open and/or Amateur Walking)
Open Gun Dog
Open Limited All-Age
Open Limited Gun Dog
No more than 2 points from derby (Open and/or Amateur Walking)
No more than 4 of the 10 points have been won by placing 1st in Amateur Stakes.
Exceptions:
Brittany - Must win 3 points or better in, Open Gun Dog, Open All-Age, Open Limited Gun Dog or Open Limited All-Age at a trial held by a Brittany Club.
German Shorthaired Pointer, German Wirehaired Pointer, Vizsla, or Weimaraner - Must win 4 points in retrieving stakes.
German Wirehaired Pointer or Weimaraner must pass a Water Test under 2 judges at Specialty Clubs Field Trials, Hunt Tests or Seminars.
Retrievers:
Win a National Championship Stake or
Win 10 points, with at least 5 points and 1 first place in:
Open All-AgeNo more than 5 points may be obtained in trials not open to all breeds of retrievers.
Limited All-Age
Special All-Age
Restricted All-Age
Spaniels:
English Springer Spaniels and English Cocker Spaniel.
Win 1 National Championship Stake or
Win 2 Open All-Age Stakes or
Win 2 Qualified Open All-Age Stakes or
Win 1 Open All-Age Stake and 1 Qualified Open All-Age Stake at different trials with at least 10 starters in either stake or
1 Open All-Age Stake or 1 Qualified Open All-Age Stake and 10 championship points with 10 starters
English Springer Spaniels must pass a certified water test which will apply to both Field Champion And Amateur Field Champion..
Cocker Spaniel:
Win 1 National Championship Stake or
Win 2 Open All-Age Stakes or
Win 2 Qualified Open All-Age Stakes or
Win 1 Open All-Age Stake and 1 Qualified Open All-Age Stake at different trials with at least 6 starters in either stake.
Sighthounds/Lure Coursing:
Win BIF at the National Lure Coursing Championship
15 points, with at least 2 firsts with at least 3 points under 2 different judges or panels and 1 point with at least 1 of the same breed in competition.
Beagles
120 points with at least 3 first places in stakes with at least 6 or more starters
Basset Hounds
60 points won in at least 8 trials, with 2 first placements in stakes with not less than 10 starters
Dachshunds
Must have won points in at least three Open All-Age classes at a licensed or member trial with at least 1 first place and at least 35 points total
