Anne Evans and “Kota” Honored for Therapy Dog Work
Sheila Goffe presented Anne Evans and her Labrador Retriever Kota with Kota’s Distinguished Therapy Dog title at the Randolph County, NC, Hospice House, in a ceremony sponsored by the Hospice House. Ms. Evans and Kota have completed more than 400 visits to the hospice in the last five years. Anne is an AKC breeder of merit, a field trial judge, and is active in canine legislation.

“Anne exemplifies a responsible breeder who is a part of the community, and participates in a variety of sports from hunting, retrieving to breed conformation. Today we’re honoring Anne and Kota, but we also honor all those breeders and owners who bring so much good to their communities and ask for very little in return,” Goffe noted.
