A Message from Mari-Beth O'Neill blue
Mari-Beth ONeill Happy New Year and Best Wishes to All!

Congratulations to the all the Juniors who competed at the AKC Eukanuba this past December. Juniors successfully competed in Obedience, Agility and the AKC Junior Finals. Please see photos in this issue!

The AKC Board of Directors approved a transfer fee for Juniors of $10. This is to allow a Junior to be added to a dog or deleted for a $10 in total. The transfer must be sent to AKC Special Service, the Junior's number should be included in a note with the transfer. Staff will verify that this is a Junior to complete the transfer.

Staff is in the process of reviewing ways to recognize Juniors who participate in multiple events. We seek your input and appreciate any thoughts or ideas in regards to recognition and to encourage new Juniors in AKC Events.

I was immediately hooked and started researching handling classes in my area. I started going to classes at the Fairgrounds every week and started in Novice Senior Junior Showmanship when my dog was ready.
