Hosting a microchip clinic at your dog show or as a stand alone event is a great way to gain publicity for your club. Microchipping appeals to a wider base since it is in the best interest of all pet owners to permanently identify their animals. Newspapers and TV stations are more likely to cover a story that is inclusive of more viewers. Hosting a clinic in conjunction with a dog show may increase media coverage and spectators.
