DOGNY: America's Tribute to Search and Rescue Dogs
DOGNY Day Proclaimed in New York

The Honorable Michael R. Bloomberg, Mayor of the City of New York, proclaimed Monday, December 16, 2002, as DOGNY Day. The proclamation was issued this weekend and delivered to Mr. Dennis Sprung, AKC Vice President of Corporate Relations.

The proclamation praises the efforts of The American Kennel Club and DOGNY, a charitable program designed to provide financial resources for Canine Search and Rescue organizations across America.

The proclamation will be on display at tonight's auction at Sothebys, and then on permanent display at the AKC offices in New York.
