Here she offers some tips for making the most of your canine road trips:
- Stop often for potty, play and exploration breaks. We like to go into small towns along the route where there is often a local park to take a walk and loosen up our legs.
- Take a couple of quarts of water from home to help avoid tummy upset and stay hydrated.
- Training a “settle” cue is very useful at human food stops involving drive-thru windows.
