Meet the first All-American Dog to become AKC Agility Grand Champion

AGCH MACH4 PACH2 Greer’s Ellie owned by Carol Greer of Mineral Bluff, GA

Congratulations to 9-year-old Ellie, the first All American Dog to earn the prestigious AGCH title -- the highest honor in AKC Agility.

The AGCH launched in July 2016 and is designed to celebrate the lifetime achievement of dogs that excel across all AKC agility classes. To earn it, dogs must achieve:

  •  Master Standard & Master Jumper with Weaves – 100 qualifying scores from each class
  •  Master Fast – 75 qualifying scores
  •  Time 2 Beat – 75 qualifying scores
  • Premier Standard and Premier JWW – 50 qualifying scores from each class

Ellie and Carol have enjoyed the sport of agility for more than six years. They’ve had the opportunity to travel to trials in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Kentucky, and Florida, making many friends along the way. Carol said she and Ellie have enjoyed every moment in their agility journey. “Ellie especially, since there are treats waiting at the end of each run.” The team earned the title in fall 2017 at the Atlanta Golden Retriever Club’s trial in Pendleton, SC.
