Jersey Shore Water Park Welcomes Dogs this Weekend

The beach season may be over for most of us, but dogs have one last chance to end the season with a splash. Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Waterparks in Wildwood, New Jersey, is inviting four-legged swimmers to the Raging Waters Water Park on Sunday, September 13.

From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. dogs can splish and splash to their hearts’ content at the park's third annual Gone to the Dogs event. Cost is $20 a person and $10 a dog, and proceeds benefit a local animal-welfare organization.

Also, to participate, owners must provide proof of the dog’s rabies vaccination and a signed release form, found here.

Want to extend the shore stay? The Blue Palms Resort, located near the water park, is offering pet-friendly accommodations (two-night stay required). Click here for details.

Remember to follow water-safety protocol when bringing your pet into a pool or other body of water. Also, never force a dog into a pool or down a slide. Click here for more tips.
