AKC and its clubs have been making the news! Here are a few of the recent highlights:
- The Daily News covered the Okaloosa Kennel Club's dog shows held May 23rd-24th, interviewing OKC member Karen Williams. [Winning at shows is] "like getting the Good Housekeeping seal of approval,” Williams said. “The goal is to breed the best dog [you] possibly can.” Read more and see photos from the event.
- The Connecticut Post previewed the upcoming dog shows hosted by the Greenwich Kennel Club and the Longshore-Southport Kennel Club. One thousand dogs representing about 140 breeds will compete in conformation, obedience and AKC Rally June 6th-7th. Local dog owners will also be able to enjoy a fun zone for dogs, demonstrations, dog show tours and a microchip clinic. Read more here.
