Iditarod Puppies Get Presidential Visit from Barack Obama

During his recent visit to Alaska, President Obama got to meet 2011 Iditarod winner John Baker and two of Baker’s Husky puppies, Feather and Moose.

According to People magazine, Baker presented the President with a “Team Baker” ball cap and jacket (which he’s seen wearing in the Instagram image below).

The Washington Post reported that Feather and Moose are about three months old. Puppies begin training for sled racing at about six months of age.
