Fox Terrier Club of Northern California to Host Stuffed Dog Toy Surgical Clinic

Wag Hotel, 39 4th Street, Oakland, California
Saturday, May 14th at 11:00am

This weekend, the Fox Terrier Club of Northern California will be repairing and cleaning the stuffed animals, squeaky toys and blankies of area dogs at their FTCNC Stuffed Dog Toy Surgical Clinic. According to the club, it’s a fun and interactive way to nurse these stuffed animal "back to health," and both dogs and kids love it!

Each FTCNC Stuffed Dog Toy Surgical Clinic visit includes the following:
•  Examination of the stuffed animal patient
•  Recommendation for cleaning or repair
•  Cleaning & repair, including stuffing, replacement squeaky, and bandages
•  Hospital bracelet with patient’s name
•  Discharge papers

While their toy is "in surgery," families will be able to learn about the latest news and information regarding responsible dog ownership as part of the American Kennel Club’s Responsible Dog Ownership Day. Wag Hotel staff, trainers, and groomers will also be on hand to provide complimentary nail trimming, dental and ear care demonstrations, answers questions, and provide tours.

While this is a free event, donations on behalf of Fox Terrier Rescue will be accepted and greatly appreciated by club members.

The FTCNC Board of Directors wishes to thank Wag Hotels for their continued generosity and sponsorship of this event.
