We all know how hard our K-9 officers work every day. Well, one K-9, Monty, and his handler, PC Steve Hopwood, of the Avon and Somerset Constabulary in England, are working extra hard for an important cause.
As part of the #22Kill challenge, Hopwood and his K-9 are seen in the video below doing 22 push-ups.
This challenge was created to raise awareness for U.S. veteran suicide. Every day participants complete 22 push-ups and share their efforts on social media.
"22 US veterans commit suicide per day and this is echoed in the British former-Service community," the Avon and Somerset Constabulary wrote on Facebook. "Furthermore, suicide is the single biggest cause of death in men under 45 in the UK."
"Help spread the word and look after each other," they added. "Someone you know may be suffering in silence."
Two paws up for Hopwood and Monty for getting down in the dirt to promote this worthy cause.
