Canine Concierge Joins Melbourne’s Park Hyatt Hotel

How would you like to walk into your hotel and be greeted by the smiling face and wet nose of a Labrador Retriever? Sounds like a dream come true, right?

Well if you're visiting the Park Hyatt Hotel in Melbourne, Australia, that dream can become a reality.

In July, Mr. Walker joined the Park Hyatt Melbourne as the hotel's official Canine Ambassador, according to a press release from the Hyatt.

Mr. Walker was trained by Guide Dogs Victoria and then "embarked upon a career change" and became an Ambassador for the hotel. Mr. Walker's official duties include "greeting guests at the lobby, attending very important client meetings, and advocating for the Guide Dogs Victoria cause."

And it looks like the 18-month-old Lab is already excelling at his job. He's taken numerous pictures with hotel guests, who have been encouraged to share them with #BarkHyattMelbourne.

Nice work Mr. Walker! This is certainly a hotel that we would LOVE to visit.

Meet another dog with a very special job, here.
