Who says that dogs don’t appreciate the value of money? Holly the Black Labrador Retriever sure knows what a dollar (or multiple) can get her. It’s treats!
5-year-old Holly keeps a stash of money hidden away and brings dollars to her owner, Casi Cook, when she wants a treat.
According to ABC News, Cook says that Holly realized very early on that money could be exchanged for doggy delicacies. Now the family keeps a jar of dollars for Holly, in addition to the stash Holly herself keeps in the house.
And not only does Holly know to bring Cook a dollar when she’s in the mood for a snack, she also knows to fetch some currency when Cook asks! That’s one intuitive dog.
