Sharon Hodgens-Wood, AKC Executive Field Representive for Obedience and Rally, was recently at the Land O'Lakes Kennel Club dog show in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she caught up with exhibitors around the obedience and rally rings:
Sheridan Wilson of Pequot Lakes, Minnesota was very busy showing her Portuguese Water Dog “Lunar” in Conformation, Junior Showmanship, Novice B Obedience and Rally Excellent and Advanced. They double Q’d in rally all three days and went High Combined on Saturday, earning three more RAE legs. The pair now have a total of four! They are still looking for that first Novice leg in obedience.
Terri Rothwell of Raytown, Missouri braved sub-zero temperatures to come to St. Paul, Minnesota to show. She and her Standard Schnauzer GCH. Sketchbook No Deductions, better known as “Q,” showed in conformation and obedience. This was their first time to show in both sports and it worked out well. They earned a new Beginner Novice title in 3 straight shows!
Bubbles was so excited to be at the dog show that her tail wagged a mile a minute! Bubbles lives in Princeton, Minnesota with her owner Tanya Johnson. They came to St. Paul to show in Beginner Novice and Rally Excellent and earned one Beginner Novice leg and 2 Rally Excellent legs. Congratulations to these dogs and owners on their accomplishments!
