AKC New York Office Attends Tuxedo Park Kennel Club Dog Show
Staff Writers | September 13, 2016
It was a bright sunny day in Bridgewater, New Jersey when the AKC New York Office took a trip to the Tuxedo Park Kennel Club Dog Show. The staff, accompanied by AKC President and CEO Dennis Sprung, spent the day learning the ins and outs of a Conformation Dog Show.
For some employees, it was their first time at a show. They were given a tour by AKC Field Reps and then explored the tents, talking to participants and gaining first-hand knowledge of the show world. Employees saw dogs and their handlers in the ring, the grooming and preparation of the dogs, and even watched some judges make their ultimate Best of Breed decisions.
It was certainly a great team-building and learning experience for all.
See the team (and even more importantly, some of the dogs) at the show in the gallery below:
And of course, a special thanks to the Tuxedo Park Kennel Club for their hospitality and allowing us to be part of this fun and educational day!
